Pooja should be
done regularly at
the same time followed
from day 1 till the end
and should not get up
in between the
pooja process |

The Varahi Amman
statue,
photo, or
Varahiamman lamp
should be placed over
a stand separately for
pooja in the direction
of North. |

A Ganesha statue
or photo should be
placed facing the
directions of east
or north near the
Varahi Amman idol
or structure. |

Fastings and rituals
should be followed
during the special
auspicious days to
please Goddess
Varahi Devi and
receive her blessings. |

Devotees should face
the direction of
north or west while
praying or doing
pooja and spraying
the holy water all
over the surroundings. |

Diya should be
separately lit during
pooja along with
Varahi Amman chants
and songs to be
sung in praise of her. |
|
Incense sticks,
Arathi, abhishekam,
offerings should be
done at the end,
along with Sangu
or bell sound. |

Red or blue or white-colored
flowers(hibiscus, jasmine,
lotus, Sangu poo), dress,
any kind of fruits(especially
pomegranate and pineapple),
potato varieties like sweet potato
(chakra Vallikizhangu), tapioca,
grains,
nuts, cereals, sugarcane, curd,
milk pudding, honey,
tulsi (holy basil),
Vilvam leaves. |
